Detoxing has become a popular buzzword in recent years, with many people seeking natural ways to cleanse their bodies and improve their overall health. While our bodies have built-in detoxification systems, incorporating certain products into our routines can provide an extra boost. Here is my list of natural detox products that have supported me and I hope can support your wellness journey too.

Lavender Body Scrub

One effective way to eliminate toxins from the skin is through exfoliation. A lavender body scrub can gently remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote healthy skin renewal. Lavender, known for its calming properties, can also help reduce stress and improve sleep quality. Your skin can absorb toxins which is why I look for body products that are phalate free and made of natural ingredients.  My favorite scrub is by Shea Moisture and I use it in the evening when I shower. 

Detox Teas

Drinking detox tea can be a simple yet powerful way to support your body's natural detoxification processes. Many detox teas contain herbs like green tea, dandelion root, and ginger, which are believed to aid digestion, boost metabolism, and eliminate toxins. Here are my favorite by category:

For liver detox and to alleviate constipation: Dandelion Tea

For anti-cancer benefits and anti-inflammation: Soursop Tea

Tummy Bloating Remedies

My tummy bloats easily.  That means I can experience discomfort while traveling or after a restaurant meal.  Several digestive aids have really worked well for me, almost immediately.  The first one that I can recommend is a digestive helper called digestmore.   This comes in vegetarian capsule form and can be taken before or after a meal.   I notice that the acidic bloated feeling goes away as quickly as 20 minutes after I take one supplement pill.   I really trust this company and like that it is all natural and simply helps you break down food in your gut and neutralize gas.  Keep in mind I do not use these daily but only when a meal has taken me off balance.

For daily gut support and specifically to reduct bloating, apple cider vinegar has long been promoted as a tummy and digestive healer.  When I'm at home I try to have one tablespoon with water in the morning.  When I travel or am on the go I really love these apple cider gummies.  They are easy to chew and taste good.  A wonderful option if you don't like the taste of ACV.  These gummies work great, but keep in mind that the natural apple cider vinegar with the 'mother' is the most effective.  Just choose the option that works for you.
